Running with the big dogs!

Edison (4mo Cardigan Welsh Corgi) and Wallace ( hound mix) both have huge hearts and personalities! They also both love ice cream, and got to share a puppy ice cream this afternoon at Kimball's!  Edison is not at all intimidated by Wallace's size and loves chasing Wallace around the backyard, its very cute to see Wallace running around having the time of his life chased  by a pup 1/10 his size!  So thankful for each of these special pups!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Crate Escape visits Emerson College for an Afternoon on Boston Common!

I'm so proud of Ancho, Rio, Zarc & Tulip who gave over 70 Emerson College students unconditional love during their Finals Week De-Stress Event!  Special thanks to their pup parents, too!  Please enjoy this video that my sister Caitlin made - you can see how much the pups LOVED being there!!!

Puppy Downtime!!!!

Bentley the Swissy, after running a full mile, was ready for some chill time.  He "read" with me for over an hour! Snoring, twitching, and even pawing me in the face in his sleep!  Such a sweet pup!

In Loving Memory of Kaya

Kaya, our very special Corgi friend, showed us what it means to live life to the fullest.  Though diagnosed at only 1-year-old with a very serious lung condition, Kaya shared her joy and sweetness with all who knew her.  She lived almost a year past her life expectancy and was a courageous, loving little girl, even to the end.  

We love you Kaya, and we will never forget you!

March Catch-up!

Here are some of the sweet pups that have come to visit this March!

Meet BUCK, an adorable Border Collie.  Though shy at first, Buck didn't take long to warm up and in no time was playing frisbee and meeting new puppy and human friends.

Bentley, our growing Swissy,  just keeps getting cuter!  He and Becket, our gentle Border Collie snuggler became great friends.  They have strikingly similar coloring, even down to the black spots on their muzzles.  Love these two!

 Sadie, one of our favorite neighbors, came to romp and play for a week.  She LOVED walking and playing with her best buddy Buck! 

Bentley x 2!!!!!!!!!!!

These two pups have so much in common, even their names!  They both loved their walks and chasing each other around the backyard.  Bentley #1 (left) is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog and Bentley #2 (right) is a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen (PBGV), aren't they so cute?!

More fun in the SNOW!!!

Meet Brody & Bailey, two brothers enjoying their first stay at The Crate Escape!  Brody has won us all over with his gentle, loyal disposition as he takes the role of elder brother to this whole pack of boys.  Little Bailey, the youngest of the bunch, would play nonstop all day - his favorite playmate this week is Tucker, a big, lovable Golden Retriever, who doesn't mind letting Bailey "win" every once in a while. Coco (Brody & Bailey's uncle) loves running through the snow tunnels we've made in the yard and can't get enough of the snow!  This week went by too quickly - I can't wait for more time with these adorable pups!!!!

Blizzard Buddies!

These five beautiful pups braved the blizzard with me over February vacation.  From left to right:  Cowper (Golden), Zarc & Tulip (Portuguese Water Dogs), Misty (1st time visitor Samoyed) & Ancho (Golden).  I am so thankful for each one of these adorable, precious dogs. . . and they make the cutest pack!!!!
